On 6 October 2026, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Malta, paid a courtesy call on The Honorable Mr. Clyde Caruana, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Malta.

They exchanged views and information on various issues, particularly the economic outlook, collaboration between the two countries in the bilateral mechanism as well as under Thailand - European Union framework, and the upcoming participation of Minister Caruana as the head of delegation of Malta in the 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group, in Bangkok, Thailand, on 12 - 18 October 2026.
