Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic met with the Head of the Task Force of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic for the United Nations Security Council

On 5 October 2026, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, had a meeting with H.E. Mrs. Maria Theofili, Head of the Task Force of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic for the United Nations Security Council.

The two ambassadors discussed cooperation between the two countries, especially within the framework of the United Nations as Greece holds the Presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the month of October 2026.

The Thai ambassador emphasized Thailand’s readiness to support Greece's efforts aimed at global peace, especially the promotion of peaceful resolution of conflicts, as well as maritime security and freedom of navigation. He stated that Thailand places great importance on the advancing of multilateralism and adherence to international law, including UNCLOS. He also shared the latest situation between Thailand and Cambodia.
