The ASEAN Committee in Athens (the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens, together with the Embassies of the Philippines, Indonesia and Viet Nam), in cooperation with the Charity Association "Friends of the Child," organised the ASEAN Plus Bazaar during 20 – 21 April 2024 from 12.00 hrs. to 18.00 hrs. at the Hellenic Foundation for Culture in Psychiko. This year, the Embassies of Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Consulate of Malaysia also participated in the Bazaar.

The event designed to raise public awareness about ASEAN and to promote culture, food and national products from ASEAN countries and ASEAN Dialogue Partners. The event was a success, attracting a large number of visitors, expats and ASEAN community in Athens. The proceeds from this event will be donated to Friends of the Child to support the children in need in the society.

The Royal Thai Embassy expresses appreciation for active participation and support from the Thai Association and Meditation in Greece, Thai community, Blue dragon Muaythai Nea Smyrni and Salamat Asian Food Store, in showcasing Thai culture. Thai food, snacks, Thai massage, Muay Thai and traditional performances received much attention from Greeks and foreign visitors and made the Bazaar even more colourful.
