In remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organised a Volunteer Beach Cleaning with the Thai Community and the Athanasios C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation on 16 May 2026 at Paralia Limani Passa in Laurium, Attica.

This merit making activity for the benefit of the local public in Greece was dedicated to Her Majesty The Queen Mother who had devoted her efforts in a number of projects for environmental conservation and preservation including coastal rehabilitation in Thailand for many decades.
