On 19 May 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organised the Royal Thai Volunteers Project for the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28th July 2024. H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, along with the Embassy’s officials and staff, as well as Thai nationals and their families residing in Greece, participated in a voluntary activity organised by Why Not, non-governmentel organisation in cooperation with the Municipality of Marathon, to clean Marathon and Schinias beaches.

This Royal Thai Volunteers Project is organised to commemorate the 6th Cycle Birthday Celebration of His Majesty the King and showcases a constructive role of the Embassy and the Thai community in Greece in joining the local community’s efforts for environmental protection in Greece.
