The Royal Thai Embassy in Athens, in collaboration with the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), Enterprise Greece, Greek Exporters Association and Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) organized the informative conference “Discover Thailand” on Tuesday 14 May 2024 at 14.00 hrs. at SEV’s office, with the support of Eurobank. The aim of the conference is to inform Greek business and private sector about the prospects, possibilities and business opportunities in Thailand.
H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic delivered special remarks on Thailand’s proactive economic diplomacy and upcoming activities in Greece related to Thailand. Meanwhile, representatives from Thai agencies, namely Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, Thai Trade Center, Milan, and Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) Frankfurt Office gave presentations on bilateral trade and investment opportunities in Thailand and participated in the networking session. More than 80 high-profile business people participated in this event. The participants also enjoyed Thai food, Thai desserts and Thai drinks specially prepared by the Royal Thai Embassy.
The success of “Discover Thailand” creates greater awareness among Greek and Thai business communities of the bilateral trade and investment opportunities and will consequently lead to an increase in trade and investment between Greece and Thailand.
