On 9 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, had a fruitful and friendly meeting with H.E. Mr. Spyridon Voulgaris, the new Director of A9 Directorate for Asia and Oceania, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. They exchanged views on ways to enhance bilateral relations and agreed to work on the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, with the objective to organise the 1st Bilateral Consultations between Thailand and Greece in the near future. Both sides also aimed to cooperate closely to make concrete progress in areas of mutual interests, such as trade and investment, tourism, and culture as well as cooperation within the European Union’s framework. The Ambassador also informed the A9 Director of the Embassy’s upcoming community service activities to commemorate the 72nd Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Rama X and the events to promote business cooperation and public diplomacy throughout the year 2024
