On 1 December 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organised a blood donation activity in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand. H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, along with the Embassy’s staff donated blood at the General Hospital of Athens Korgialeneio - Benakeio (Hellenic Red Cross). On this occasion, Dr. Anastasios Karandreas, Director of the Hospital, expressed the hospital’s sincere appreciation for the Embassy’s voluntary blood donation and proposed cooperation between the Embassy and the Red Cross in Greece.
