Before the end of his working trip to the Republic of Serbia, on 22 February 2026, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, the Ambassador of Thailand to Serbia with residence in Athens, went to the House of Flowers in Belgrade, which is the mausoleum of Josip Broz Tito and Jovanka Broz, the President and the First Lady of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. President Tito was also one of the main leaders who initiated the establishment of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) of countries working together towards peace in the Cold War era, and he was the host of the first NAM Summit in Belgrade in 1961.
King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, King Rama IX of Thailand, translated the biography of “Tito” by Phyllis Auty into the Thai language. It was published in 1994 in the hope that Thai people would know more about Tito and would help create a more peaceful world.
