On 19 May 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens participated in the 30^th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Athens (ACAT) with the Embassies of Indonesia, the Philippines and Viet Nam to discuss future workplans and joint activities in order to promote ASEAN-Greece cooperation in areas of mutual interests and to raise the awareness of ASEAN in Greece. In the meeting, Ambassador of Viet Nam as the current ACAT Chair also handed over the Chairmanship to Ambassador of Indonesia. The term of the ACAT Chairmanship is 6 months and on a rotation basis.
