During 26 Feb. - 2 March 2014, H.E. Mr. Joompol Manaschuang, Ambassador of Thailand, and First Secretaryl of Royal Thai Embassy in Athens, Greece participated in the 36th International Fair of Tourism 2014 in Belgrade, Serbia. Sponsored by the Embassy, Thai dishes, namely 1) Pad Thai Kung (Stir-fried rice noodle with shrimp) 2) Por-Pier Tod (Thai Spring Roll) and 3) Ka-nom-pang-na-mu (Fried bread with minced pork spread), were presented to the public and served to the visitors on 1st March 2014  at the booth of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT Balkan Office) in the Fair. During the event, Thai food was successfully promoted in parallel with Thailand tourism and Thai cultural show. Prospective tourists, travel agents and Thai food lovers apart from being treated to Thai culinary flavour and Thai classical performance were informed of the potential and opportunity of tourism in Thailand all at this one-stop-service booth.  

During the visit, constructive dialogue and meetings between Ambassador of Thailand and Ambassadors of Indonesia, Myanmar and the Chargé d’Affaires of Malaysia to Serbia were also engaged in order to explore ways for enhancing and strengthening the cordial relationship between ASEAN nations and Serbia through a number of activities to be held in Serbia.
