On 30 March 2023, Mr. Pornsith Pibulnakarintr, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., along with Ms. Kesarin Phanarangsan, Counsellor, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Theodoros Michalopoulos, new Director of A9 Directorate for Asia and Oceania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. Both sides exchanged view on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interests, particularly, the exchange of visits at all levels, trade, tourism, culture, as well as reciprocal support for each other’s candidature in international organisations. In this regard, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. sought Greece’s support in Thailand’s bidding for Expo 2028 Phuket.
