On Friday 12^th October 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organized a luncheon to the children of the “Friends of the Child”, a non-profit child sponsorship organization that helps children in need to commemorate the passing of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.  The event was presided by His Excellency Mr. Chailert Limsomboon, Ambassador of Thailand, Embassy staffs and the Thai Community in Greece.

 On Saturday 13^th October 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organized a ceremony in remembrance of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Ambassador residence.  On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Chailert Limsomboon, Ambassador of Thailand conducted the participants to stand still for 89 seconds in tribute to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
