During 21 - 29 June 2015, 4 Thai students and 1 professor from College of Music, Mahidol University of Thailand with financial support from the Royal Thai Embassy participated in the program of Summer Piano Institute 2015 at Corfu island. These Thai students of musical (Piano) science shared their knowledge and experience with other music students from Europe and America. Furthermore H.E. Mr. Joompol Manaschuang, Thai Ambassador and spouse also paid a visit to the Ionian University at Corfu on 26 June 2015 in order to witness the Piano Recital which were performed by these talented students from Thailand.

               Before completing their studying tour in Greece, the Embassy in cooperation with the Piano Plus Festival arranged a piano concert “Four Pianists from Thailand in One unique Concert” for 4 young students to have an opportunity to show their gifted skill to the public on 30 June 2015 at the Attiko Conservatory of Athens. Master pieces of well-known classical song composers, Thai traditional song and some of musical composition of His Majesty the King of Thailand were beautifully played and acknowledged with wide approval from the  audiences, many of whom are youth, musical students, ambassadors of ASEAN countries as well as members of diplomatic corps in Athens. At the end of the performance, variety of Thai snacks and beverages from Thailand were served to everyone. Leaflets about tourism in Thailand and Thai culture were given to interested guests as well.
