On March 18 2019, Ambassador Chailert Limsomboon of the Royal Thai Embassy to the Hellenic Republic received a delegation from the National Defence College.  On this occasion, Ambassador Chailert briefed the delegation on the overall aspect of the Greek-Thai relations as well as the geographic importance of Greece in the Mediterranean region.

                        During the visit to Greece, the delegation has met with representatives from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy and the Piraeus Port in Athens.
